Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in the city of Decatur on 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country singer. As a teenager, she made her debut in the world of music, having won local contests from the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album at the age of 14 years old. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut single album, a solo one in the year 1987. In addition, she was invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. Later, in 1989, her first solo album was released together with them.
