Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek , born 2 September 1966)[3][4][5]) is an American and Mexican actress. She began her career in Mexico with her starring role in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she won an Ariel Award nomination. With appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) In 1999, she quickly established herself in Hollywood. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo as a painter in Frida (2002) which is a biographical film she wrote and produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6She also received the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6. Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. In the following years, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
