Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack for writing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream music and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogs to print media, garnering recognition from major publications such as The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she began preparing for the release of her debut album.
