Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and in 2016. She also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and other events in her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the debt limit for the United States and discussions by the super-committee. Her general assignment work has included reporting regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was appointed a CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she covered breaking news for 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. Prior to that, she worked as an anchor at NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband and two children.
