Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative. But it includes influences like punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani DiFranco was among the first musician to start her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both from Montreal descent. Ani Difrasco wrote and recorded the track "32 Flavors". The track is available on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco, which was released in the year 1996. On the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a version of the song. In 2013, DiFranco apologized after it was revealed that she planned to host a three-day workshop at the former Louisiana plantation for slaves. It was cancelled but many (including the author of this article) did not show any remorse. DiFranco apologized for her mistake a couple of days afterward. Little Folksinger is a singer who has collaborated with a variety of artists, including Pete Seeger, Chuck D and Prince. The singer hails from New Orleans. Ani diFranco as well as Kristen Ford are together. The first song she wrote was at the age of 14. Her teens were spent singing them in pubs and cafes. DiFranco began attending classes at Buffalo State College at age 16 following her graduation from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. The new baritone she got was created by custom Alvarez guitar, designed by Chrys Johnston, who at the time was working as the Alvarez artist rep. This guitar is made of solid wood, with the top being made of cedar and the sides. The guitar also comes with the System 600 Preamp. The home she lives in is New Orleans. There she lives with her husband, two children and her long-legged sidekick Lefty. DiFranco states that she's not sure about the idea of looking at her career in retrospect, even though it's been over three decades. Ani DiFranco achieved her musical iconic status as a songwriter/singer and punk/folk at the age 25, both in the eyes of the public and critics, when she released Not A Pretty Girl.
