Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London on 22 August 1995. Dua Lipa signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after she was a model. She launched her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached the third spot in the U.K. charts for albums and included eight songs, including the U.K. number one track New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa's album, which has now been certified Platinum in various nations around the globe was awarded the two Brit Awards (in 2018) in the categories of British female single artist, and British Breakthrough artist. Dua lipa was born August 22, 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. By way of her maternal grandparents, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Gjin and Rina are her sisters. Lipa was influenced musically by her father, who is also the lead guitar player and the singer of the Kosovan group Oda. Her father at home continued playing music which included his own compositions and songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing when she was just five years old. The first time she sang was during her school, the Sylvia Young Theater School when she was just nine years older. Lipa recorded the song If I Ain't I Gotta You by Alicia Keys and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera to be uploaded on YouTube. Lipa has signed Warner Bros. Records a contract in the year 2014. In August of 2015 her first single New Love came out.
